pastry for two crust 9-inch pie
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/3 c. pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
2 (1 lb.) cans cherry pie filling
1 carton Cool Whip
Preparation

Roll pastry in 14-inch circle; put in 12-inch pizza pan. Flute edges; prick.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Blend cheese and sugar; add eggs and beat well.
Add nuts and vanilla.
Pour into partially baked crust and bake for 10 minutes; cool.
Spread pie filling over cheese layer and chill.
Top with Cool Whip before serving.
