Orange-Pineapple Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small can pineapple chunks
    1 c. chopped dates
    1 jar Simply Fruit orange jam
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1/3 c. honey
    2 egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. whole wheat flour
    1 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Boil water and put in dates.
    Turn down to simmer; cover and set aside.
    Combine orange jam, pineapple, honey, egg whites and vanilla.
    Remove dates from steaming water and mix with mixture.
    Sift flours, soda and salt.
    Add the orange mixture to the flour mixture.
    Fill two bread loaf pans half full. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
