Christmas Stollen - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. hot roll mix
2 eggs
1 tsp. ground cardamon
3/4 c. raisins (optional)
1 Tbsp. granulated sugar
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 tsp. milk
candied fruit
Preparation

Prepare roll mix as directed on the label, adding 1 egg and cardamon.
Let rise until double in bulk.
Turn out on lightly floured board and knead in raisins.
Set aside 1/3 of the dough. Divide remaining dough in 3 equal parts and roll each in a strip about 12 inches long.
Braid.
Put on greased baking sheet. Divide other piece of dough into 3 equal parts and roll each into a strip about 10 inches long.
Braid.
Place smaller braid on top of larger braid.
