Italian Pot Roast And Noodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (4 to 5 lb.) chuck or round roast
    meat tenderizer
    2 medium onions, sliced
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. boiling water
    salt and pepper
    garlic powder
    Italian seasoning
    1/2 c. mushrooms
    1 c. pitted black olives
    1 can tomato sauce
Preparation
    Sprinkle roast with meat tenderizer 30 minutes before cooking. Saute onions in butter.
    Brown roast on both sides.
    Add water, salt, pepper, garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
    Cook roast about 2 hours.
    Add mushrooms, olives and tomato sauce; cook 1 hour longer.
    Serve with noodles or mashed potatoes.
