Fruit Salad Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cherries (unsweetened)
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    6 bananas, cut up
    1 Tbsp. red food coloring
    6 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3/4 c. nuts
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Drain juice from cherries and pineapple.
    Add enough water to juice to make 2 cups.
    In large pan, pour juice, salt, food coloring, cherries and pineapple; bring to a boil.
    Mix sugar and cornstarch together.
    Add to fruit little at a time, cooking until thick.
    Add vanilla and cool.
