Wine Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. sugar
    2 egg yolks
    5 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. sweet wine
    1 egg white
    chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Mix together the butter or margarine, sugar and egg yolks. Beat until light and fluffy.
    Add flour and salt with wine alternately.
    Mix and chill.
    Roll out a floured board and cut into 2-inch rounds.
    Brush with slightly beaten egg white and sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 10 minutes. Cool.
    Makes about 8 dozen.
