Chicken Pot Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    pastry for 2 crust pie
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    6 Tbsp. oleo
    1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    3 c. cubed cooked chicken
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas and carrots, cooked and drained, or vegetables of your choice
Preparation
    Cook onion in oleo until tender, but not brown.
    Blend in flour and salt.
    Add broth all at once.
    Cook and stir until thick and bubbly; add remaining ingredients.
    Heat until bubbling.
    Pour into baking dish, put pastry on top and cook in 350\u00b0 oven for 40 to 45 minutes until crust is brown.
