Apple-Cream Coffee Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour cream
1 medium apple, pared, cored and thinly sliced
Preparation

In small bowl, mix nuts, cinnamon and 1/2 cup sugar.
Cream butter and 1 cup sugar, beating until light and fluffy with beater at full speed.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Add vanilla.
Add flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda, beating well.
Add cream.
Spread half of batter in pan; top with apples.
Top apples with nut mixture.
Add remaining batter.
Add remaining nut mixture.
