Donuts Or Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. milk, heated to scalding
3/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. lard (oleo)
8 c. bread flour (approximately)
2 1/2 Tbsp. yeast (rounded)
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. cold water
Preparation

Dissolve sugar, salt and lard in hot milk in bowl.
Add water and beaten eggs.
Liquid should be very warm to touch.
Add 4 cups flour; sprinkle dry yeast over it.
Stir with wire whisk.
Add the rest of the flour; stir with big spoon.
Dough should be sticky but manageable.
Makes approximately 50 donuts.
