Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage, shredded
    1 onion, chopped
    6 Tbsp. butter, divided
    1 can (10 3/4 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup
    1 (8 oz.) processed cheese, cubed
    1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
Preparation
    Cook cabbage in boiling salted water until tender, drain. Saute onion in 5 tablespoons butter until tender, add soup and mix.
    Add cheese, heat and stir until melted.
    Remove.
    Stir in cabbage, salt and pepper in ungreased 2-quart baking dish.
    Melt butter.
    Cook
    and stir crumbs in butter until browned, sprinkling over casserole.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
