Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. solid vegetable shortening
    1 c. packed light brown sugar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    2 c. old fashioned oats
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Beat shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla until soft.
    Gradually add flour and oats.
    Stir in raisins and pecans.
    Drop by spoon. Cook 8 to 10 to 12 minutes at 325\u00b0, until golden brown.
