Scotch Shortbreads - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. unsalted butter
1/2 c. confectioners or light brown sugar
2 c. bread flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

In electric mixer, beat butter; add sugar gradually and flour sifted with baking powder and salt.
Fold in last half cup of flour by hand.
Roll in 1/3-inch thick, cut in squares or rounds, price with fork and decorate, if desired.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes in moderate 350\u00b0 oven or until delicately brown.
Makes 24 or more.
