Scalloped Potatoes And Ham - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. oleo or butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 1/2 c. milk
    6 c. (6) thinly sliced potatoes
    1 small onion (1/4 c.), chopped
    1 1/2 c. fully cooked ham
    1 Tbsp. oleo or butter
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease 2-quart casserole.
    Heat butter or oleo in 1 1/2-quart saucepan over low heat until melted.
    Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and bubbly; remove from heat.
    Stir in milk.
    Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
    Boil and stir 1 minute.
    Layer 1/3 of the potatoes, 1/2 of the onion and ham and 1/3 of the white sauce in casserole; repeat.
    Top with remaining potatoes and white sauce.
    Dot with 1 tablespoon oleo or butter.
    Cover and bake 30 minutes.
    Uncover and bake 60 to 70 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
    Yields 6 servings.
