Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. cider vinegar
    2 1/4 c. water
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1/3 c. yellow mustard
    2 onions, coarsely chopped
    1/2 tsp. each salt and pepper
    1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
    2 1/2 c. catsup
    6 to 8 Tbsp. lemon juice
    cayenne pepper to taste
Preparation
    Bring the first 7 ingredients to a boil and cook on low 20 minutes or until onions are tender.
    Add the remaining ingredients. Simmer, slowly, for 45 minutes.
    Taste for seasoning.
    This sauce freezes well.
