Eggplant Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large eggplant
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 large onion
    1/2 lb. grated cheese
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 can tomato sauce
Preparation
    Slice eggplant into 1/4-inch slices and pare; soak for several minutes in salty water.
    Dip eggplant slices into egg and roll in flour.
    Fry until golden brown.
    Place in layers in baking dish, with onions and cheese; season.
    Pour in tomato sauce; cover with remaining cheese.
    Bake for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Serves 4.
