Sourdough Hot Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. sourdough starter
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. water
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks with salt until thick and light.
    Stir in 2 cups of sourdough starter.
    Beat 2 egg whites until stiff.
    Beat in sugar.
    Fold gently into first mixture.
    Dissolve soda in 2 teaspoons water; carefully add to batter.
    Bake pancakes on hot, buttered griddle, turning once.
    When ready to be turned, tops of pancakes will still be wet and bubbles won't be so firm as in ordinary pancakes.
    Serve immediately.
