Grandma'S Glazed Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 small apples, cored or whole
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. water
    1/4 c. red cinnamon candy or stick cinnamon or extract and red food coloring
Preparation
    Boil all ingredients for 5 minutes, except apples.
    Add apples and cook slowly until tender.
    Put apples in a flat pan and sprinkle with sugar; place in oven a few minutes to glaze.
