Seven Layer Fruit Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. peach slices
2 c. blueberries
2 c. strawberries, sliced
2 c. seedless grapes
2 Tbsp. chopped nuts
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. lemon rind
1/2 c. whipping cream
1/4 c. confectionary sugar
Preparation

Layer fruit in a clear 2 quart bowl.
(It is pretty in a pedestal bowl).
In a separate bowl, blend cream cheese, lemon juice and lemon rind. Set aside.
Whip cream to soft stage. Gradually add sugar until stiff peaks form.
Fold sweetened whipped cream into cream cheese mixture and spread over the layered fruit.
Sprinkle with nuts.
Add maraschino cherries, if desired.
Keep chilled.
