Mashed Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. white potatoes, peeled and sliced
    1 stick butter
    1 small can (5 oz.) evaporated milk
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Cook potatoes over medium heat in enough water to cover until just tender.
    Drain in colander.
    Rinse with cold water.
    Use electric mixer to mash potatoes.
    Add butter, milk, salt and pepper to taste and mix until smooth.
