Blueberry Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. sifted flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt (optional)
    1 well beaten egg
    1/3 c. salad oil or melted shortening
    1 c. fresh or thawed and well drained frozen blueberries
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Sift dry ingredients into bowl; make a well in the center.
    Combine egg, milk and oil.
    Add all at once to dry ingredients.
    Stir quickly just until moistened.
    Gently stir in blueberries.
    Fill greased muffin cups 2/3 full.
    Bake about 25 minutes.
