Pesto Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 2/3 c. basil leaves
    6 cloves garlic
    1 c. pignoli nuts or walnuts
    1 c. extra virgin olive oil
    1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    3 Tbsp. water
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In a blender: basil leaves, nuts and garlic.
    Blend until fine.
    Then: add oil in a thin stream while blending.
    Add cheese, salt and pepper.
    Serve over hot pasta, which was boiled \"al dente.\"
