Elizabeth Dole Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 apples, peeled and sliced
    2/3 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    pinch of nutmeg
Preparation
    Put apples, sugar and water in skillet.
    Bring to simmer. Cover and cook 5 minutes.
    Mix cornstarch in 1/4 cup water and stir in apples.
    Bring to boil for 2 minutes.
    Remove from heat. Add butter, cinnamon and nutmeg and cool.
