Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 c. fine dry bread crumbs
    2 eggs
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 medium bay leaf, crushed
    dash of thyme
    dash of marjoram
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Combine all ingredients; mix well.
    Put into 9-inch loaf pan.
    Bake in oven for 1 hour.
    Yields 6 servings (serving size:
    one 1 1/2-inch slice).
    Half of recipe yields 3-serving loaf; 1/3 of recipe yields 2-serving loaf.
