Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. shortening
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients.
    Add milk and shortening; beat for two minutes.
    Add eggs, one at a time, and beat.
    Add lemon juice and vanilla.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Pour into greased and floured tube pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until done.
