Coconut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter flavored Crisco
    2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. coconut extract
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. coconut
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. coconut extract
Preparation
    Cream sugar and Crisco. Add eggs, one at a time, beating 2 minutes after each addition. Add extract, then the dry ingredients alternately with milk. Fold in coconut. Bake in greased and floured tube pan, starting in cold oven. Set thermostat at 350\u00b0 when cake is put in oven. Bake 1 hour.
