Ingredients

1 head cabbage, shredded
1 green pepper, chopped
1 large carrot, shredded
1 tsp. salt
1 c. vinegar
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation

Combine vegetables.
Sprinkle with salt; let stand 1 hour. Drain mixture if water accumulates.
Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan.
Bring to a boil; boil 1 minute.
Cool.
Pour over cabbage mixture; stir well.
Freeze in containers.
To serve, thaw in refrigerator.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
