Casserole Of Sweet Potatoes And Pears(Yield: 10-12 Servings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Large Sweet Potatoes, peeled and sliced 1/2-inch thick
    6 Ripe Pears, peeled, cored and cut into 8 wedges each
    1/3 cup Pear Brandy (may substitute coconut brandy or other brandy)
    1/2 cup Orange Juice
    3/4 cup Packed Brown Sugar
    4 Tbsp. (1/2 stick) Unsalted Butter
    1/2 cup Golden Raisins
Preparation
    1. Place the sweet potato slices tin a pot and add water to cover.
    Heat to boiling.
