Scalloped Oysters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
3 c. cracker crumbs
1 qt. oysters and liquid
salt and pepper
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. milk
grated lemon rind (1)
Preparation

Butter a 2-quart casserole well.
Sprinkle with cracker crumbs.
Cover with a layer of oysters, salt and pepper and dots of butter.
Repeat until all oysters are used.
End with layer of cracker crumbs.
Beat eggs, milk and oyster liquid with lemon rind; pour over casserole and season to taste.
Dot with butter. Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
