Summer Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. yellow squash
    1 egg
    3/4 c. milk
    American cheese
    1 stick butter
    1 medium onion
    3/4 c. Pepperidge Farm herb dressing
Preparation
    Boil squash and onion; drain and mash.
    Add butter.
    Beat milk, egg, salt and pepper, then add to squash mixture.
    In 9 x 9-inch pan layer squash, dressing crumbs and American cheese; repeat and top with cheese.
    Sprinkle dressing crumbs on top and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
