Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. corn meal
1 egg
1/2 c. cream-style corn
1 medium onion
1/2 c. flour
dash of sugar
1 to 2 jalapeno peppers
milk as needed

Preparation

Mix and let set in refrigerator for 30 minutes before cooking. Drop by spoonfuls or roll into small balls and fry in hot oil until brown.
