Buttermilk Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. buttermilk
    1/2 stick butter or margarine
    2 c. sugar
    6 eggs, separated (save whites for meringue)
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1 deep dish pie shell
    2 tsp. sugar
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    In 2-quart saucepan on top of stove, add sugar, eggs and flour.
    Mix very well.
    Add milk.
    Stir well.
    Cook on low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is thick.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Be sure to prick bottom of crust.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until set.
