Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. fruit (peaches, apricots or berries)
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Combine flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, milk, salt and vanilla.
    Mix well.
    Pour into a greased 8 x 12-inch baking dish. Mix fruit with remaining sugar and pour on top of batter.
    Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Serves 6 to 8.
