Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter (not margarine)
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. sweet milk
    3 1/2 c. self-rising flour
Preparation
    Mix
    butter, sugar, eggs and flavoring with hands.
    Add flour and milk.
    With 1/2 cup flour, knead dough, pinching off pieces and patting out thin on greased cookie sheet.
    Preheat oven
    at 325\u00b0.
    Bake for 5 to 8 minutes or until done.
    Makes about 56 cookies.
