Ingredients

1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 egg whites
2/3 c. sugar
1 c. chocolate bits
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff.
Add sugar slowly while beating.
Add chocolate bits and nuts; blend.
Put on cookie sheet by spoonfuls.
Place cookies in oven.
Turn oven off; leave overnight.
Do not open the door.
