Green Tomato Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 hot peppers (less if you don't like hot)
    6 onions
    1 gal. green tomatoes
    1/4 c. salt
    3 c. vinegar
    5 c. sugar
    1 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a large container and cook until skins of tomatoes begin to break.
    Pack tomatoes into 10 sterilized hot quart jars or 20 pint jars.
    Seal.
