Spicy Pintos And Sausage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pkg. dry pinto beans
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. smoked sausage
    1 bunch green onions
    1 small white onion
    1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes and peppers
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    salt and black pepper to taste
Preparation
    Rinse beans and cover with cold water.
    Soak overnight. Drain.
    Add cold water to beans until water level is about 4-inches above beans.
    Add all other ingredients.
    Bring to boil, then reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer for about 2 hours.
    Serve over hot cooked rice.
