Christmas Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 1/2 c. flour
4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. ground cloves
3 c. applesauce
2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. shortening
3 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 (15 oz.) pkg. raisins
1 (10 oz.) jar maraschino cherries, drained
1 c. chopped walnuts

Preparation

Sift flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and cloves together.
Mix applesauce with baking soda in small bowl.
