German Stuffed Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large head cabbage
2 lb. ground beef
1 c. bread crumbs
1 c. onions, chopped
2 eggs
Preparation

Steam cabbage until leaves are easily removed.
Mix ground beef, bread crumbs and onions with salt and pepper. Set aside. Peel leaves and line inside of steamer basket with the leaves, bottom and sides.
Put thin layer of meat mixture on bottom. Cover with thick layer of leaves.
Add meat and cabbage leaves until all is used up.
Put a little water in bottom of steamer. Add the basket and cover.
Boil for about 2 hours.
Pull out steamer basket and flip stuffed cabbage onto a plate.
Slice as if slicing a cake.
Serve with Hollandaise Sauce and mashed potatoes.
