Heavenly Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    2 c. sifted powdered sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 egg yolks
    1 c. cream, whipped
    1 c. drained crushed pineapple
Preparation
    Spread 1 1/4 cups cookie crumbs in 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Cream butter, powdered sugar and vanilla until fluffy; beat in yolks separately.
    Carefully spread mixture over crumbs.
    Beat cream stiff; fold in drained pineapple, and spread carefully over butter-cookie layer.
    Top with remaining cookie crumbs.
    Cover with waxed paper.
    Chill several hours.
    Cut in squares.
    Serves 12.
