Smoked Turkey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 lb. turkey
    1 medium onion
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 small bell pepper (if desired)
    1 small stalk celery (may be substituted for or combined with pepper, according to taste)
Preparation
    Wrap in foil and smoke 5 hours.
    Take off foil last hour to brown.
    If larger turkey is desired, smoke 30 minutes per pound.
