Marinated Coleslaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. cabbage (1 medium)
    1/2 green pepper, shredded
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 red bell pepper, shredded
    1 c. cider vinegar
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Shred cabbage. Finely shred pepper. Combine preceding in large bowl. Set aside. In 1-quart stainless saucepan, combine vinegar, oil, sugar, dry mustard, celery seed, salt and pepper. Boil over moderate heat 3 minutes to dissolve sugar. Pour over cabbage mixture and toss. Let stand 30 to 60 minutes, tossing occasionally.
