Biscochitos(Cookies) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    2 tsp. anise seed
    6 c. sifted flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. water
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream shortening, butter, 1 1/2 cups sugar and anise seed.
    Add beaten eggs and blend until fluffy. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add flour mixture to creamed mixture.
    Add enough liquid to make a stiff dough.
    Knead slightly and roll into 1/2-inch thickness.
    Cut with cookie cutters and top with cinnamon-sugar mixture.
    Bake 10 to 12 minutes until light brown.
