Red Velvet Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    7 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 c. plain flour
    1 c. milk
    2 bottles red food coloring
Preparation
    Cream sugar, shortening and eggs. Add flour and salt, alternating with milk. Add food coloring and vanilla. Pour into greased tube pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
