Potato Pancakes (Latkes) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large potatoes
    1 medium onion
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. bread crumbs
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    low-fat cooking oil
Preparation
    Grate the potatoes and onion in a large mixing bowl.
    Add the remaining ingredients and stir the batter well.
    Preheat a frying pan to 325\u00b0 with a generous amount of low-fat cooking oil.
    Using a serving spoon, carefully place the batter in the frying pan and cook until the pancakes are golden brown.
    Serve with either cinnamon and sugar, applesauce or sour cream.
