Quick Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 Tbsp. salad oil
    1 3/4 oz. envelope chili seasoning mix
    1/2 c. water
    1 lb. can tomatoes (undrained)
    15 oz. can red kidney beans (undrained)
    1 Tbsp. light brown sugar
Preparation
    In a large skillet, heat oil.
    Add beef and cook over moderate heat, crumbling with a fork, until it loses its red color.
    Stir in chili seasoning mix, then remaining ingredients.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
    Serve in wide-rim soup plates with crackers.
