German Potato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 to 1 lb. bacon, diced
1 medium onion, chopped
1/3 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt (1 tsp. in sauce and 1 tsp. over potatoes)
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 c. vinegar
2 c. cold water
about 5 lb. red salad potatoes
Preparation

Brown bacon slowly.
Pour off most of grease and saute onions, then add flour, sugar, salt and mustard.
Stir over low heat. Stir vinegar and cold water into mixture over medium heat until thickened.
