Pecan Cake(Good Fruit Cake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    6 eggs
    1 lb. cherries
    1 lb. pineapple
    1 lb. white raisins
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour, sifted 3 times
    6 Tbsp. grape juice
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 lb. pecan halves
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar together.
    Add egg yolks (one at a time).
    Stir nutmeg into grape juice and add to mixture.
    Fold in flour.
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Cube pineapple and cut cherries in halves.
    Roll all fruit and nuts into extra flour. Add to cake mixture.
    Cook in 250\u00b0 oven for 2 hours.
    Cook one more hour at 275\u00b0.
    Let cool completely in pan before removing.
