Swedish Fruit Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. grape juice
    1/2 c. raisins
    4 medium apples, peeled and sliced
    1 cinnamon stick
    4 c. water
    1/4 c. quick tapioca or rice
    1 slice lemon
    1 lb. dried fruit (peaches, apricots or prunes)
Preparation
    Combine ingredients in a large kettle and bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring often, until fruit is done.
    Add more water, if necessary.
    Makes 6 servings.
