Peanut Butter Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 c. chunky peanut butter
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt, divided
    3 eggs, separated
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. peanut butter
    3 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Mix powdered sugar and peanut butter.
    Place 2/3 of mixture in bottom of baked pie shell, called \"crumbs\".
    In a saucepan, combine cornstarch, 1/4 teaspoon salt, egg yolks, vanilla, sugar, milk, butter and peanut butter.
    Cook over medium heat until thick, stirring constantly.
    Pour over crumbs.
    Beat together 3 egg whites, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 3 tablespoons sugar until stiff. Pour over pie.
    Sprinkle on rest of crumbs.
    Bake for 20 minutes at 325\u00b0.
