Candied Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 sweet potatoes
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 stick margarine
    1 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. maple syrup
Preparation
    Peel sweet potatoes and boil in water for 20 minutes and drain.
    In a separate saucepan, melt margarine.
    Stir in brown sugar, vanilla, maple syrup and salt.
    Pour syrup mixture over sweet potatoes.
    Cook over medium heat until potatoes are well sweetened (approximately 15 to 20 minutes).
